Director of Product at Facebook, Peter X. Deng has just posted this image to his Facebook wall. The comment on the post was “Thank you for letting us be a part of your lives.”
We all knew this moment in history was coming, but just take a second to think about that. We often counted the number of users around the globe that had computers, then how many were online, now how many regularly go to a single website.
With the world’s population now numbering more 7 Billion, it’s staggering that 1 in 7 people on earth are on Facebook. Like it or hate it, if you’re not on there, you’re missing out.
Congratulations to the team at Facebook, continue to create a great product and your next party will be for 2 Billion.
