The long running Halo franchise is set to get its 4th instalment in 111 days after being officially confirmed at last year’s E3 conference. At E312 What better way to kick off this year’s E3 with a live demo of some Halo 4, Microsoft’s biggest franchise on the console.
While it looks like the Halo we know and love, there are certainly some upgrades. The HUD now features different modes like heat detection and weapons.. are upgradable! There’s also new vehicles and a new enemy class. The graphics engine does look like its had some further refinements with the biggest changes being to lighting and texturing.
The end of the video was met with a big round of applause, so clearly the gamers (and press) in the crowd were impressed.
