If you’d like to add Bing as a search provider to IE8 and Firefox, just follow the steps below.

Internet Explorer 8 (or IE7).
Long Zheng from iStartedSomething was very quick indeed in creating a firefox plugin.

Step 1: Go to http://www.ieaddons.com/en/createsearch.aspx.

Step 2: In the URL field, insert http://www.bing.com/search?q=TEST&form=QBLH&filt=all, give it a name (i.e. Bing)

Step 3: Click the “Install Search Provider” button.

Bing should now be added as a search Provider in IE.

Firefox
Long Zheng from iStartedSomething was very quick indeed in creating a firefox plugin.

Step 1: Go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/12205/

Step 2: Ensure “Let me install this experimental add-on.” checkbox.

Step 3: Click the “Add to Firefox button”.

Bing should now appear as a search provider.
