Hulu officially launches, forgets the world is bigger than the US.

    Hulu

There’s often time where I feel as Australians, we get screwed out of fantastic products / services. This time where not alone.

Hulu is the legal way to get your favourite TV show and Movies online. Offering a massive number of ‘A List Titles’, episodes are released just the day after airing on US television. This is the service we’ve been waiting for and despite it’s downsides (no downloads, only streaming), the service and lineup look fantastic.

    Heroes
    Prison Break
    House
    The Simpsons
    Family Guy
    Futurama
    The Office
    Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
    24
    Las Vegas
    Burn Notice
+ many, many more – you get the idea.

Hulu disappointingly limits access to IP address from the United States. That means anyone else from around the world misses out. At least for now. I find it hard to see this lasting long.

I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again. The Internet age brings a global marketplace, information is not stopped at the borders. So Hulu, we know about you, just let us in on the action, what your offering is great and we want in!
