You thought the battle for display technology was all but over didn’t you? LCD has become the standard as almost every single plasma manufacturer getting out of the business. Now comes LG with a Laser display.

LG Electronics Australia today announced the arrival of its 100-inch (254cm) Laser Display to Aussie shores. First displayed at CES earlier this year, the 100-inch Laser Display sadly isn’t 4K, but does offer an ‘affordable’ way to get a 100” display.

As long as your pockets and lounge room are large, you can pick up one of these bad boys only at Harvey Norman (they got an exclusive). It’s important to know this is a display, not a TV, so you’ll need to bring the HDMI source.

The 100” LG Laser display goes on sale mid-July and will cost A$8,999.
