The controller is the thing that connects you to the gaming experience. The Xbox Controller was improved with each generation of the console, but now things are changing. There’s now a brand new iteration of the Xbox One controller, only a couple of years after launch.
The updated controller features a grey/black colour scheme but more importantly a new omni-directional pad, in place of the traditional D-pad. On the back there’s flappy paddles, like what you’d traditionally only find on a steering wheel accessory. These will certainly benefit those of us who love driving games but will also work well for additional options like switching loadouts or to secondary weapons in FPS.
The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller will be available later this year.
