While Virtual Reality gets much of the attention, Augmented Reality may have even more potential. Microsoft has shown off HoloLens with a few examples of what AR may be used for. Naturally gaming is the obvious choice, but training simulations, education and entertainment opportunities are also extremely exciting directions for the technology.
Microsoft is now crowdsourcing some ideas for how the community wants to use HoloLens. In a new campaign called ‘Share Your Idea’, Microsoft is calling for submissions by you. These conceptual ideas will be voted on by the community and the development of the most popular will be supported by Microsoft to bring them to reality.
If you’ve got an idea, make sure you submit it before January 11th, 2015.
