    PlayStation VR launch titles available for pre-order

    The PlayStation VR may not be available until October 13th, but that hasn’t stopped PlayStation from making a number of VR titles available for pre-order today. Following yesterday’s annual E3 Press Conference, PlayStation Australia have confirmed the 1st party launch titles for PlayStation VR (PS VR).

    The following 1st party software titles will be available on day one:

    • RIGS Mechanized Combat League – A$89.95 RRP
    • VR Worlds – A$54.95 RRP
    • Until Dawn: Rush of Blood – A$24.95 RRP
    • Super Stardust – A$24.95 RRP
    • Hustle Kings – A$24.95 RRP
    • Tumble VR – A$14.95 RRP

    As we can see from the pricing of VR, there’s a large span of pricing between experiences. When PS VR launches on October 13, 2016, it’ll cost A$549.95 RRP, it will deliver virtual reality to the mainstream, as all 40 million PS4’s in gamers’ homes across the globe are PS VR-capable.

    From some of the biggest franchises in gaming to brand new titles created exclusively for PS VR, a wide breadth of unique experiences will await gamers when PS VR launches.  During yesterday’s E3 2016 conference, Sony Interactive Entertainment America unveiled new PS VR experiences, including Farpoint, Star Wars Battlefront: X-Wing VR Mission, and BatmanArkham VR.

    President of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Jim Ryan said,

    “PlayStation VR is a virtual reality system that takes PS4 to the next level of immersion.”

    “With the launch of PS VR on the horizon, we are looking forward to showing consumers that innovation has never been stronger at PlayStation as we offer unique experiences that truly embody VR’s potential.”
