Pre-orders now live for Galaxy S7 on Telstra, Vodafone, Virgin

    S7

    Telstra

Telstra customers can pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge now (from Friday 26 February from 12:01am). Customers pre-ordering these phones will receive a free Samsung Gear VR, but you better be quick, with the disclaimer of “while stocks last”. There’s no stated number of GearVRs that are available, but I’d expect these to go quickly.

Of course the Samsung Galaxy S7 adds SD storage expansion as well as water and dust resistance. Perhaps even more importantly, Samsung’s latest flagship also support category 9 LTE download speeds and next-generation voice calling (voice over LTE). This means speeds of up to 450Mbps on Telstra’s 4GX network in 4GX areas, and high-definition calling and faster call setup times with VoLTE.

Both the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are available individual plans, but for those also looking for a tablet solution, there are tablet bundle’s available.

    Vodafone

Vodafone have also announced the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are now available to pre-order online.

Vodafone is introducing a new plan especially built for the Samsung Galaxy S7. For a limited time Vodafone’s new $70 plan includes unlimited standard national calls and unlimited standard national and international texts, 6GB of data to use in Australia and the company’s award winning $5 Roaming, which allows customers to use their normal plan inclusions in over 50 countries for just $5 extra a day.

Vodafone is offering the 32GB variants of both the 5.1 inch Samsung Galaxy S7 and 5.5 inch Galaxy S7 edge in black, silver and gold.

    • The Samsung Galaxy S7 is available to customers for $7 per month on Vodafone’s $70 plan over 24 months ($77 per month min spend $1,848).
    • The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is available for $19 per month on Vodafone’s $80 Red plan over 24 months ($99 per month min spend $2,376).

If you do pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge online, you could also receive a Samsung Gear VR headset, valued at $159. If you pre-order, you can expect delivery of the new phones on Friday 11th March and watch the tracking online.

If you’re not sold and need to get the phone in hand before pulling the trigger on the purchase, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and 5.5 inch Galaxy S7 edge will be available in Vodafone stores nationally from Friday 11 March.

    Virgin Mobile

If you prefer Virgin Mobile as your mobile provider, then there’s also good news. The Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge is now available for pre-order from Virgin Mobile.

    Optus

Naturally Optus is offering the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge as well. Their pre-order page is now live and Optus are also offering the free GearVR as long as you sign up to a 24 month My Plus Plan between 26/02 – 10/03 (while stocks last).

While Optus have pre-order page on their website (and big promotion on their home page for the S7), their pre-order button strangely takes you to the ‘chat with us now’ rather than actually pre-order the phone(s) online.
