At Microsoft’s big event overnight, the world was introduced to the company’s first all-in-one first party device. Known as Surface Studio, the device features a higher than 4K display which is crazy thin at just 1.3mm. The base box is where all the horsepower lives and inside that relatively small box can be a variety of hardware options.
The 28″ Pixelsense display combines with either a Core i5/i7 processor, up to 32GB of RAM and discreet 4GB GPU from Nvidia. As this device is targeted at creators, the screen supports touch and ink, and even slides down to a more accessible work platform. Given you’ll be closer to the Surface Studio device than a regular monitor at arms distance, the high resolution (13.5 million pixels) display is critical.
