Over the years gamers have become very used to seeing new versions of gaming hardware, usually thinner and in different colours. There’s also rare game-themed editions like the Gears of Ware Xbox but the latest Lamborghini Centenario Xbox one S takes the cake. Seriously just look at the thing, it’s a work of art and stems from the meticulous detail of the $2 million dollar car that inspired it.

The Forza Horizon 3 cover car is amazing to get behind the wheel of in-game but if you were lucky enough to own this ultra-exclusive console, you’d be the envy of Xbox fans across the world.

To celebrate the release of the game (you can read my review here) the flagship Microsoft Store in Sydney is giving Australian racing fans a chance to win the one of a kind, custom built Xbox One S. The console and controller get the black finish, complete with the Lambo logo proudly showcased on the top. The sides of the console are lined with the Lambo yellow and the tabs that match the sideskirts of the car. The bumpers of the controls are also matched with the colour scheme and the whole thing comes together as a brilliant execution in automotive gaming design.

    Microsoft says

the first and only Lamborghini Centenario Xbox One S is reminiscent of the Italian manufacturer’s striking design and state-of-the-art engineering. With its gunmetal body, matching wireless controller and signature yellow trimmings, the console truly looks as sleek as it sounds!

If you’re around Sydney at all, head to the Microsoft Store (located at Westfield Sydney, 188 Pitt St, Sydney NSW 2000) from today to see this piece of racing and gaming history.

To be in the running to win it, you need to purchase either the standard or ultimate editions of Forza Horizon 3 from 27th September until 2nd October – either in store or online. Entries go into a draw which will take place after the 2nd October and for those fans who pre-ordered or bought early, you can opt into the draw by sending their proof of purchase in a private message to the Microsoft Store Facebook page.

If you don’t win the console, you aren’t completely out of luck, if you pre-ordered the game via the Microsoft Store, you can take home a gorgeous 1:43 scale model of the Lamborghini Centenario and also be given $10 Microsoft Store Credit.

The console is absolutely gorgeous and the person who gets to take it home should display it with pride. With so many amazing luxury cars in the game, does this pave the way for Ferrari, McLaren, and Bugatti versions of the Xbox One ?
