Unofficial Final Cut Pro X video now available

    image

Yesterday Apple held an event at the NAB conference (National Association of Broadcasters) to skip their video editing suit Final Cut Pro from version 7 straight to version 10 (or X). With no explanation of the reason why, the non-Jobs event jumped straight into the new features of Final Cut Pro X.

If you missed it, don’t worry, all the Apple fanboy cheering was caught on video and is now available on YouTube (thanks www.pampuri.net).

One of the biggest surprises was the price announcement. Just like MacOSX, there’s no full/upgrade pricing, just one single price US$299, no word on AU pricing. This is substantially cheaper than current versions of FCP. It will be available for download exclusively through Apple’s AppStore.
