A number of us early adopters have begun to use Windows 8 Consumer Preview as our primary Operating System. We’re now in the cycle of checking the Store daily for new apps. This morning turned up an Australian gem, the Vodafone Windows 8 app, the first telco in Australia to do so.
The app is designed to allow Vodafone customers to check their balance and manage account services. While its nothing you couldn’t already do from your browser, having a Windows 8 metro app is a nice to have. Congrats to Vodafone for leading the way, not only for telco’s, but to be one of the first Aussie companies to release an app.
