    Developers will now be spoilt for choice when developing full screen, native apps for Windows 8. Sinofsky insisted that what we see in Metro-style apps is Windows, not a layer on top. Essentially developers can build Windows 8 apps using any language they know to create apps.

    Visual Studio 11 was also shown off to demo just how easy it is to create an app. In standard Visual Studio style, there’s pre-developed templates to get you started.
