    Windows Home Server reaches RC1

    During Bill Gates keynote at this years CES in January, he announced a new product Windows Home Server. Although news has been quiet about this product, it’s nearing completion, now reaching the release candidate status.

    There are 2 options for install, either use your own hardware, or purchase a Hardware solution from a manufacturer that runs Windows Home Server (available later this year).

    Windows Home Server is available to all participants of the beta program, but you can also get access as long as you don’t mind signing up and completes a survey.

    Once the server is setup, all that’s left to do is run a config cd on each PC you wish to join to the server.

    This platform offers, secure online access to shared files, complete backup solution, media sharing and more.
