Microsoft’s Xbox ANZ division is searching for Australia’s most versatile PC gaming champion.
This month, Xbox ANZ is teaming up with Fortress Melbourne to host PC Game Pass Gauntlet, an in-person competitive event at Fortress Melbourne where contenders will be tested on a range of gaming skills.
Select Australian PC gamers who think they have what it takes to take the gauntlet home (yes, there will be a physical gauntlet trophy for the champ!) will face off against each other in mini-challenges where their skills will be put to the ultimate test. They will undertake a variety of challenges from PC Game Pass titles of different genres – all of which will be a surprise until the day.
PC Game Pass allows players to play hundreds of high-quality PC games with friends, including new games from Xbox Game Studios on day one and get an EA Play membership. Members can also now access their favourite games on PC from Riot Games. With a huge variety of PC games from every genre, and new games added all the time, there’s something for everyone to play.

If you’ve never had the chance to visit Fortress Melbourne, I’d definitely recommend it, it’s a gamer’s paradise, with opportunities to play games on PC, Consoles, arcade or tabletop, all while enjoying food and drinks with friends.

- Fortress Melbourne is a licensed venue and as such ID is required and checked on entrance
- Unaccompanied minors are not permitted in the venue at any time. Please make sure any guests under 18 are accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
- Minors are not allowed in the venue past 8:00pm
