It seems the Eee PC is a hit with consumers leading up to the holiday period. The 4GB, AU$499 7″ laptop went on sale in Myer Sydney City on Saturday, and by lunch time was sold out.
The Eee PC got nationwide release on Sunday, 2 December and as at close of business yesterday (Monday, 3 December) all capital city stores (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth) were sold out.
Other metro stores across Australia still have limited stock. More stock will be shipped to Myer at the end of this week.
