It seems the annoncement of a black coloured Wii console has the online community racing to their keyboards with excitement. With what was seemingly a small announcement, it has recieved an amazing amount of coverage. I mean sure it has a matching black controller (and maybe even a black Wii Motion Plus), but it’s hardly ground breaking.

This could be a result of a dissapointing Nintendo E3 Press Conference yesterday. Personally I already own a (dust collecting) Wii, so the fact that it comes in black isn’t very exciting at all. A WiiHD on the other hand.. would have been very newsworthy.. guess we’ll have to wait at least another year for that.
