This is stunning technology that’s been a long time coming. The idea that you can completely control the configuration of your keyboard, spawns infinite possibilities. Keyboards have been largely unintelligent device for decades, adding the occasional USB port or wireless capability, development of keyboards has definitely been slow.
That is until now. I really hope the Optimus keyboard is a runaway success, so that one day the technology becomes cheap enough that it’s advantages can be delivered to a majority of consumers. At it’s current price, the target market will probably be limited to only technology enthusiasts with a bunch of spare cash.
