We’re all very familiar with Facebook’s notification system. This morning you may notice an important change. Rather than simply saying a friend has commented on your photo, a thumbnail of which photo is shown in-line. Its a neat, useful feature that allows you to tell at a glance if its something you need to pay attention to.
Often comments are made about photos posted years ago, which often don’t require your attention. This way you can see which photo and know if its worth your time to click through tot he photo and see the comment.
Now we hope they focus on getting the notification number correct on the mobile app.
