The futuristic Google Glass isn’t so futuristic anymore, it’s reality. Today Google started shipping glass to real people outside the company. Those who attended Google I/O last year or ‘won’ their opportunity to buy Glass, were required to go to Google HQ to pick them up.
Dan McLaughlin was one of the lucky ones who already has their Google Glass (Explorer Edition). Naturally with interest so high and many questioning the $1,500 price tag, it made sense that McLaughlin filmed the unboxing to show off what you get for that money.
