    Guitar Hero: World Tour launches in Australia

    Yesterday the 2nd edition of the now famous Guitar Hero game launched in Australia. Moving on from only guitars, music-loving fans can now get there hands dirty on drums, vocals guitar and bass. This move is clearly in response to their biggest rival, competing at-home-band game – RockBand.

    The game is available on Xbox 360, PS2, PS3 and Wii. If your still a fan on playing by yourself, Guitar Hero World Tour + Guitar will set you back AU $139.95, while the entire lounge-room filling setup will cost you around AU $260 (friends not included).

    If you have the first Guitar Hero, your old guitar should work just fine in World Tour, but keep in mind the new guitars have been upgraded.

    This ads to an already flooded market of great games leading up to the holiday period, it’s a great time to be a gamer.
