It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas (if you’re an F1 fan). This week we seen the covers come off the latest generation of Formula 1 cars, the pinnacle of Motorsport technology. First there’s the new Red Bull (RB12) with the aggressive matt-black livery, then there’s the new Mercedes (W07) with ridiculous aerodynamics on the new front wing and further down the grid there’s new teams like Haas.
We are less than a month away from the start of the 2016 season and that means this week we’ve seen the first test days with the new cars which again have to adjust to new rule changes.
As we get excited about the dawn of the new season, we now have news that Hisense, one of the fastest growing brands in Australia, has announced its growing partnership with the 2016 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix. Hisense is one of 3 official partners you’ll find in The Lounge, the entry point to the delicious Paddock Club located in the premium position, directly above the pits. It’s the ultimately location for Formula 1 fans.
As part of the new partnership, Hisense will provide free Wi-Fi at key locations around Albert Park so you can share your favourite moments from the big race without eating through your own mobile data. Naturally you’ll see Hisense screens everywhere at the Melborne GP, including their latest 4K ULED TV in the Lounge.
Head of Marketing at Hisense Australia, Andre Iannuzzi, says Hisense’s most premium 2016 television technology will launch at the Australia F1 GP
“As Hisense is the official TV supplier of the F1 Red Bull Racing team and the 2016 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix, we saw the opportunity to be part of The Lounge as a natural fit while demonstrating our very latest technology advances in Hisense 4K ULED TV with a broad and relevant audience.”
Hisense are providing fans with an opportunity to win tickets to the 2016 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix. Simply through an Instagram competition for creatively capturing the key components of the next evolution in technology, entries close on 28 February.
The 2016 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix runs from 17-20 March.
