    IE8 released, not available for WIndows 7

    Internet Explorer 8 
    This morning Microsoft released Internet Explorer 8, the next version of their browser. Unfortunately Windows 7 users are stuck on the beta, apparently because it contains “unique features and functionality” that requires additional testing.

    For those of you running XP or Vista, you can get IE8 from http://microsoft.com/ie

    To get IE8, you will need to manually go to the site and download it, but at some point in the coming months IE8 will become an update available through Windows Update.
