Microsoft’s developer conference, Build is going on a road trip across 23 cities around the world. Sydney will play host to the Build Tour for the Australian leg, giving Aussie developers access to the best of the main //build/ announcements that takes place in San Francisco from April 29th to the 1st of May.
This year’s Build conference is one of the most important in the company’s 40 year history as we run towards the release of Windows 10. There’ll be deep dives in the Windows 10 developer platform for app and web developers which will cover the transition to universal apps that run across device platforms from phone, to tablet, to desktop, Xbox and even IoT devices.
There’ll also be coding sessions and exciting demos across devices, partner showcases and an opportunity for an open Q&A and face-to-face time with Microsoft engineers so get your questions ready.
While tickets to Build in California don’t come cheap, Build Sydney is a free event, but does have limited spaces, so go register now if you’re interested. The Sydney event will happen on June 1st, 2015, a month after the Build conference finishes. Of course developers will be keen to get hands-0n with the Augmented reality, HoloLens, but there’s no confirmation if it’ll be ready in time.
