Move over AR Drone, mobile controlled RC toys have arrived [Sponsored Post]

By now we should all be familiar with Parrot’s A.R. Drone, the quad-copter that is controlled by your mobile phone. It’s a neat idea that’s quickly spreading to other RC toys like this Ferrari Enzo or even the iCon Helicopter. The difference is that while the Drone uses a WiFi hotspot to connect, these products use Bluetooth.

imageRegardless of the connectivity method, using the device you already own to control these vehicles makes a lot of sense, when compared to shipping with a redundant plastic controller. In this instance, the device support includes iPod touch (great for kids), iPhone and iPad (great for big kids).

These products are available from Dick Smith and for more information please visit http://dicksmith.com.au/list/appcessories
