Rallycross is coming to Project CARS 2. The upcoming game’s Rallycross trailer is incredibly impressive, with the cars and environments looking absolutely stunning. You’ll be able to select from the Honda Civic Coupé, Volkswagen Polo RX, Ford Focus RS RX (Ken Block), Mini Countryman RX, Ford Escort RS 1600 and the Olsbergs MSE Supercar Lite Ford Fiesta.
These powerhouses fire off the line from 0-100kmh in under 2 seconds, fly over 70-foot jumps, and aggressively battle like drunken dodgem cars on a variety of surfaces – dirt, mud, and asphalt.
Project CARS 2 is shaping up to be one of 2017’s best racing games, with 170+ cars, 60+ tracks, varying terrains and motorsports. This time round they’re addressing some of the biggest criticisms from the first version, by adding many more iconic cars from the world’s most elite brands. Developed by Slightly Mad Studios, they’re claiming Project CARS 2 is the most beautiful, authentically-crafted, and technically-advanced racing simulation game you’ve ever experienced.
Project CARS 2: the ‘ultimate driver journey’ is due out late 2017 (can’t come soon enough) and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
