New Xbox Live Experience coming soon, website available now

By now most of you Xbox fans would know Xbox Live will be down most of tomorrow for maintenance in preparation for the rollout of the new Xbox Live Experience. If you’d like to get a sneak peak at what’s going to be included, you can visit the NXE site and check it out. There’s even a couple of videos available from the developers who’ve created the new design.

It appears there’s still no support for podcasts, something that would be of great benefit, even if the files were stored elsewhere on your network, but accessible and downloadable from the Xbox, that’d be a great competitor to the Apple TV.

Overall the new user interface will take some time to get used to, but look pretty slick, bringing not only a new UI, but also new functionality.

Fingers crossed by this time next week, we’ll all be playing with our shiny new Avatars (am just waiting for the Avatar-2-Tshirt service).
