A trailer for Project CARS 2 has been leaked. The trailer runs for 1 minute and 28 seconds and during that time we get plenty of insights into the games features and its stunning visuals.
Of course the trailer features the disclaimer that its a work in progress, but that work by Slightly Mad Studios really looks to be paying off.
In the trailer we see the 2017 Ford GT, along with a healthy dose of other top vehicles like the McLaren P1 (and GT3 varient). In terms of tracks we see clips from a couple of races on the snow, as well as a rally event, confirming the series is moving past tarmac and will offer racers new and exciting surfaces to deal with.
One of the game’s best assets has been its physics engine and support for a wide range of steering wheel and pedals. If you’re a racer that wants simulation, then Project CARS one of the best at it and expect that to get even better in the 2nd edition. There’s now dynamic weather and check out those reflections in the water pooling around the ripple strips.
The game isn’t out till around Q3 this year, but I can’t wait to get behind the wheel.
Make sure you’re quick as this isn’t the official release, this video is likely to get pulled.
