So the best part of the east coast of Australia have selected Windows 7 as the Operating System of choice. Both QLD and NSW education have completed successful trials of Windows 7, as a result, they’ve decided to implement the latest Microsoft Operating System.
The combined rollout will total around 300,000 machines, including staff and student machines in QLD schools and NSW netbooks. My biggest question is will there be a clean sweep of the east-coast ? So far, there’s no information about wether Victoria will join the train to the future, or be stuck on the aging XP.
