Despite some strong competition in the Android space, the Samsung GALAXY S4 remains one of the best phones on the market. The 5” Full HD Super AMOLED screen may be gorgeous, but the real beauty of this device is on the inside. The GS4 has some seriously smart features that will change the way you interact with your phone. The video below shows off a realistic situation where you’re eating and your phone rings. Normally you’d have two choices in this situation, dirty your phone with greasy fingers, or miss the call. Thankfully Samsung engineers understand this pain and built in Air Gesture.
Air Gesture allows you to simply wave your hand over the Samsung GALAXY S4 to accept calls, change music, browse the web or flick through photos with Air Gesture activated. If you need to interact with your phone more than that, another gesture-controlled feature called Air View lets you enlarge content and photos, preview emails, and speed dial all with your finger hovering over the screen.
As you’d expect with a flagship phone like the GALAXY S4, it’s not short on features, so let’s look at some of the others. The glass used in the GS4 is Corning’s new Gorilla Glass 3, one of only a few devices to do so. It’s stronger, harder and most importantly harder to break than previous generations.
