At the start of last month Microsoft announced that the Surface Pro would be released in Australia in “the coming months” which we now know means before the end of may.

A post on the Surface blog confirms that Australia will be one of 19 countries to see the Surface Pro next month (New Zealand is also on the list), with another five to come in June. No pricing has been announced yet, but if you judge by how the Surface RT was priced, it should be pretty close that of the US price of $999 for the 64GB version or $1099 for the 128GB version.

Is it too little too late for the Surface Pro in Australia?
