    The Government wins the NBN ? $43 Billion, FTTH for 90% of Aus, up to 100Mbps

    In what can only be described as shocking, the whole NBN process has been scrapped in favor of a government-built National Broadband Network.

    – The NBN will provide FFTH for 90% of Australians.
    – Create 37,000 jobs.
    – Provide speeds of up to 100Mbps .
    – Government will spend $43 billion over 8 years.

    Update
    The NBN will begin construction in Tasmania, mid year and take around 8 years to complete.
