Professional Geek Nick Hodge has just announced that Microsoft Australia will be running Windows 8 Developer Camps in capital cities around Australia. Clearly the key to Windows 8’s dramatic new Metro-look is having applications that take advantage of it, so it makes a lot of sense that MS would want developers on-board.
The Windows 8 developer camps are happening around the world, as a developer who’s already working on Windows 8 apps, I’m glad to see the camps locally. Running from the end of March through to mid-June, there should be just enough time to get your apps ready for the launch of Windows 8 later this year.
The other great news is that these events are free, but naturally capacity is limited, so make sure you register quick smart.
