In terms of email uptime, I’ve had a great experience with Hotmail over the years. I’ve used the service for around 10 years now and struggle to remember more than 1 or 2 other outages.
Today’s was the worst by far, with users experiencing outages spanning multiple hours, in my case around 5 hours. Even scarier was the fact the message displayed indicated my mailbox no longer existed.
A quick trip to http://search.twitter.com let me know there was an outage.
My email is now back online with nothing lost.. what about yours ?
