After upgrading to WordPress 2.7, many of us found that we could no longer connect to the WordPress iPhone app.
Attempts were met with a “could not find the XML-RPC service for your blog”. As you can imagine this was frustrating for a blogger on the go.
After hunting around google for a while I came accross a solution that actually works.
Step 1: Log into your WordPress Admin
Step 2: In the themes section, select the Default Theme and click ‘Apply Theme’.
Step 3: While your blog is set to the default theme, connect using your WordPress iPhone app.
Step 4: Set your WordPress back to your custom theme.
