Alongside Facebook’s launch today of Facebook Home and their new Chat Heads Messenger service, Australian’s have also been graced with with the companies free VOIP calling service as techAU discovered today while going through the new app suite.
To call your friends over Facebook, download the latest update of Facebook Messenger from the Play Store or App Store and once downloaded, all you have to do is tap on your friend, and then the ‘i’ at the top of the screen and an option to call your friend will be there.
From my experience, call quality has been quite good but like calling over your voice network, it varied over signal strength and Wi-Fi speed.
