Polestar opens space at Chadstone, Melbourne Shopping Centre

Swedish electric performance car brand, Polestar has opened its first Australian retail location at Chadstone Shopping Centre in Melbourne – just in time for the Festive Season.

The Polestar Melbourne Space features the same minimalist design synonymous with the brand worldwide and has been specifically curated to supplement Polestar’s digital-first retail model.

Visitors to the new Space will be able to either explore at their own pace or engage with Polestar Specialists for information on the Polestar 2 and electric vehicle ownership. From February, guests will also be able to take a test drive or arrange collection of their new vehicle from the Centre in addition to Polestar’s current test drive and handover location in Port Melbourne.

Samantha Johnson, Managing Director, Polestar Australia says

“We are delighted to open Australia’s first highly anticipated Polestar Melbourne Space at Chadstone Shopping Centre. We welcome the opportunity to share our new home with customers and visitors interested to learn more about electric vehicle ownership, especially in Australia where demand for electric vehicles is particularly high at the moment.

“Polestar is excited to be part of Australia’s move to a more sustainable, electric future with its first retail Space in Melbourne, and looks forward to the concept extending to other locations in due course.”

The award-winning Space concept has been designed to supplement the brand’s digital-first retail model. The minimalistic, monochrome interiors in each Space provide customers with a calm and thoughtful environment to experience Polestar’s product portfolio and connect with the brand.

Polestar 2 is the first fully electric model from Polestar and is available in 27 markets worldwide. The Polestar 2 model range includes three variants with a combination of long- and standard range batteries, and dual- and single-motor powertrains with as much as 350 kW and 680 Nm, priced from $63,900.
