Mirror’s Edge is everyone’s favourite parkour video game and as such has a serious following. In this fan-made video, we see an insane collection of movements through a real city and engage in battle with the enemies. It’s seriously well made and some effects added in post, result in a totally augmented reality and gives us a possible eye into the future.
Playing in a fully virtual environment is one thing, but this combining experience combines both real world footage, an amazing athlete, plenty of planning and some great digital work in the editing room.
Do yourself a favour and check out this video, shot on GoPro Hero 3/4 using a mouth-mount. There was a cast of around a dozen people who helped on the production of this Mirror’s Edge recreation.
