Apple TV+ app now available on Fetch TV boxes

Fetch TV has announced that subscription streaming service Apple TV+ is now available as an app on Fetch TV boxes*.

Fetch TV boxes are available through internet service providers Telstra, Optus, TPG Vodafone (iiNet, Internode, and Westnet), Vocus (Dodo and iPrimus) and Aussie Broadband along with retailers Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Bing Lee, and The Good Guys.

Apple TV+ original shows don’t tend to get as much media publicity as Netflix, Amazon etc but there are quite a few good dramas on there worth watching.

I am looking forward to catching up with the latest seasons of alternate history space drama For All Mankind and the British spy series Slow Horses featuring Gary Oldman, as well as the new one off series Lessons in Chemistry, starring and executive produced by Academy Award winner Brie Larson.

Feature films coming soon to Apple TV+ include Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon and Napoleon, starring Academy Award winner Joaquin Phoenix from Academy Award nominated director Ridley Scott.

Customers can subscribe to Apple TV+ through the Apple TV app on Fetch Mighty and Fetch Mini 4K hardware* for A$12.99 inc. GST per month with a 7-day free trial.**

The integration of Apple TV+ makes it easier to just use a Fetch box by itself for Free-to-Air channels, FAST channels, Free to Air channel apps, pay per view movies/TV, streaming apps and subscription TV channels like ESPN all with one remote and one integrated menu, with universal search.

Sam Hall, Chief Content and Commercial Officer, Fetch TV said

“Apple TV+ has quickly established itself as a market leading SVOD service with some of the most acclaimed and buzzworthy content available anywhere. Fetch is committed to providing a compelling aggregation experience and no platform is complete without Apple TV+. We know Fetch users will be delighted with the addition, and we look forward to further solidifying our position as “The Way to Watch.”

    * Not available on Fetch Mini Gen 3 or Gen 2 hardware
