ASUS ROG Matrix RTX 4090 is a liquid-cooled GPU with an AIO for extreme overclocking

ASUS’ Gaming brand, Republic of Gamers (ROG), has made a bunch of product announcements for Computex 2023.

Among the highlights is the ROG Matrix RTX 4090, a liquid-cooled graphics card, which will be available on the market in Q3, 2023.

The ROG Matrix RTX 4090 boasts the industry’s first liquid metal thermal solution directly on the graphics card’s GPU die, allowing for even lower temperatures for superior sustained performances, and lower noise.

The RTX 4090 features a transparent design that we’ve never seen on a GPU before and I have to say, looks fantastic. Often GPUs in gaming rigs are not just about the performance, but also need to look good while being fast.

ROG says this is the fastest RTX 4090 you can buy, sourcing the best chips from Nvidia and when you’re making a flagship that’ll cost the price of a small car, why not go all out.

A standard RTX 4090 is already massive, but this one goes next level with the card extending the full width of a motherboard and that’s before you deal with the AIO cooling cables. Naturally being a card from a gaming brand, there’s lots of addressable RGB along for the ride.

The card is connected to a 360 mm radiator with magnetic daisy-chainable fans (yes Asus is joining LianLi and Thermaltake in what is the new standard for cooling). The pump is now more powerful than ever before and circulated the liquid around the All-in-one loop between, cooled by the airflow of the radiator, before again being heated by the card as it goes to work for you.

If you have more money than you know what to do with and a generously sized case, then you should go with this very unique ROG Matrix RTX 4090 for your next GPU.
