flotzam is a mashup of information from sites like twitter, facebook and you can even connect it to additional data sources.
It’s been created using Microsoft Expression Blend and Silverlight. It comes 2 forms, an application and also a screen saver.
It comes with a sweet UI created by the developer Tim Aidlin, the design was taken by Karsten Januszewski the developer and the data connection was made.

Review
After trying this out on my laptop and work machine, I’ve noticed it is incredibly resource intensive and had my processor running around 90-95%. Also experienced random crashes – displaying “the application is not responding” error. I am running this on Vista machines. So if anyone is still running XP and would like to try this, please leave a comment about your experience.
