This week April 1st will arrive for 2010, personally it’s one of my least enjoyable weeks of the year. Every company under the sun tries to be funny with some prank announcement and honestly I’m really tired of it. The problem is that nothing serious will be announced in fear of being bundled in with the masses of pranksters and having no-one believe it.
So while you read the tech news this week, it’s best to start thinking it’s an April Fools Day joke, unless proven otherwise. Don’t forget it’s not just April 1st you have to worry about either, lots of pranksters get in early and due to timezones, it means April Fools Day will last through April 2nd.
With that said, there’s plenty of tech tips, reviews a general industry observations that can be written up, that’s what I’ll focus on. techAU.tv is one site you can safely visit without being concerned the content is a joke.
