Just like the desktop app Google Earth lets users view the world in a 3D globe. There’s one big advantage of Google Earth on the iPhone, it can use the in-built GPS to locate you. When you do so, the 3D globe rotates and zooms in to your position. From there you can then pinch to zoom in and out, rotate the globe etc.
