This is really quite surprising to see a giant like google experimenting with Digg-style voting on their search results. This signifies monumental change is on the way, the days of users being presented with a preset list of results are more than likely numbered.
There’s only so much development that can go into the complicated algorithms that calculate the correct search results. Ultimately having a large community of users contributing feedback about search results, will produce better, more relevant, more accurate results.
I can’t wait until this progresses from their labs and ends up on google.com front page.
