    GPS's not all the same… Bluesens G01 and G02 use real maps

    The new G01 and GO2 from Blusens uses Satellite imagery for their maps, rather than your typical graphical representations of streets etc. This does add value, being able to actually see what the area looks like before you get there, however the question of satellite image currency immediately springs to mind.

    This seems like an intermediate step to eventually get to using something like google street view for navigation, however again the issue of currency is something that would need to be solved.

    It’s great to see Blusens actually making innovations in the GPS areana. It does also seem like we’re in a transition phase where these type of windscreen-mountable GPS’s are a short-term solution until car manufacturer make LCD screens + GPS’s a standard feature in cars.
