The immersiveness of games is something we’ve come to expect and to some degree in movies and music as well, however the poor old interweb has always trailed far behind.
It’s interesting new ways of engaging the audience like this, that really sets the bar for next generation online experience. The site allows you to move through a world that appears 3D, but is actually a real hand-made model environment of a Halo war scene and then get more detail on specific items of interest.
This very same content could have been provided in the typical format of images, video and text. However Bungie chose to push the boundaries and create something very impressive.
