Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer is dropping bombs over at Flickr, with a complete rethink of the offering. Flickr is now offering 1TB of photo and video storage for free. Wow.

There’s a complete site redesign which feels a lot more like Google+ thank Flickr, but I think it works well..

For those Pro members like myself, you can switch to a free account, but you will see ads. Personally I think I’ll save the $30py and just go free. The bigger loss when downgrading from a pro to a free account will be stats.
