Seems the format wars are making directors angry, with Michael not feeling to happy that if you want to watch transformers in HD, it has to be HD DVD.
All this coming after the $150M US payoff to Paramount to run HD DVD exclusively for the next 18 months. Funnily enough they kept any film by Spielberg out of the agreement, but thought that Michael’s films (potentially including Transformers 2) should only be available to the HD DVD market. Depressing.
