Less than a month out from release, Codemasters have released the latest gameplay video from F1 2016. The new video shows action from the track, the pit lane, and shows the games ability to recreate key moments from the 2016 season.
This weekend is the Hungarian Grand Prix and unfortunately gamers can’t go head-to-head with the times of real drivers, for that you’ll either have to jump into F1 2016, or wait till August 19th on Xbox One, PS4 and Windows PC via Steam.
There’s a lot to like about the changes being made in F1 2016, with an in-depth career mode that runs a full ten seasons. You get to select and move between teams or work with Research and Development Engineers to build a successful team.
New in this year’s release of the game will be a formation lap, virtual safety car, manual starts and manual pit lane entry braking. To keep you in check, there’s also plenty of penalties that can affect your track position or championship race.
Support for up to 22 drivers should make multiplayer racing pretty exciting, especially when they can be made up of human and computer players. Those who follow Formula 1 will know this season features 21 circuits including the new Baku, which will offer gamers the first opportunity to race the circuit.
If you’re an mega fan of the game, the Limited Edition includes a ‘CAREER BOOSTER’ DLC PACK, which will give players a head start in their career as well as exclusive Career Helmet and Laptop designs.
